Peek-a-boo!!
It's hard to believe that it's July already. I have really been enjoying being home with my little sidekick this summer. We have gotten into our own routine being home. Elliott really loves being out and about--grocery store, Target, pool--you name the place. He is quite the observer and loves to check everyone out.
Elliott (and his parents) survived baby's first vacation. We spent a week at Santa Rosa Beach with friends Michael and Nikki and their little guy Gavin. It was definitely unlike any beach trip I've ever been on. Heck, by the looks of me you would have never known I had set foot on the beach. I didn't even have so much as a tan! Elliott enjoyed the beach and especially enjoyed playing in his baby pool up on the sand.
Elliott continues to improve his mobility and Gabe and I continue to try to keep up with him. This week E managed to pull the living room side table down onto him self which was quite exciting. He cried for all of about 10 seconds then was on to the next thing. Is it bad that I really can't remember where the other bruises on his forehead came from? Our little guy is definitely "all boy" and there is a new bruise almost daily it seems.

With Elliott's first birthday approaching, I am busy planning his bash. My mom will confirm that I've always been a party planner-often times planning my October birthday party in July. This party will be no different. I've been busy creating invitations and decorations on my photoshop program. Gabe tolerates my crazy ideas and incessant time spent researching on the computer. I really can't believe that our little guy is going to be one!
